The farm and its' surroundings

Brattset Gard dates from 1872, renovated in 1992, and is beautifully situated on the island Ertvågøya in the municipality of Aure, Møre og Romsdal. The farm Brattset Gard is ecologically operated rearing sheep. There are also a lama and two cats on the farm.

The bedrooms for rent are in the farmhouse itself, connected with a newly built extension including bath, kitchen, LR and washing room. It is also possible to put up a tent, either close to the farmhouse (toilet and washing facilities in the farmhouse) or further up in the mountains, at the old 'seter'. It is also possible to rent a cabin on the mountain. A quiet place for recreation and rest in beautiful nature surroundings.

Upon request, breakfast and/or dinner is served.

Swimming possibilities in nearby sea and lake. It is possible to rent a boat. There is nearly no traffic in the area, and it is very quiet.

Situated between mountain and fjord, Brattset Gard is a peaceful and quiet place with possibilities for hikes and fishing both on the fjord and in lakes on the mountains.

The municipality of Aure has a varied landscape with many possibilities for daytrips and actvities - which makes it an interesting place to spend some time. Wikitravel has some information on Aure at Aure travel guide.
